Letter From the Editor: Fall 2022

The chill in the air reminds us we’re in a season of change. Moving from summer to fall and fall to winter are seasonal changes I get excited about. Swapping out sandals for boots, t-shirts for sweatshirts, and cold coffee for hot? Oh yeah.
As Christians, we also encounter spiritual seasons of change. Some are exciting; some are extremely difficult. Our salvation journey ebbs and flows, teaching us along the way how to lean on Jesus and trust Him more. Becoming Christ-like is not easy, and according to 1 Corinthians 2: 12-16, only the Spirit-minded person can understand and evaluate life through the eyes of Christ.

Letter From the Editor: Spring 2021

How many of you chose a word to focus on this year? Mine is Amen! When I shout Amen, I’m putting my faithstamp on the behind-the-scenes redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m proclaiming out loud that I’ve put my complete trust in my Redeemer, Savior, and Lord. Even when I can’t see what He’s up to, I can still trust Him to fulfill His promise of completing the work He’s doing in the world and in the lives of those who belong to Him. The more established my faith, the stronger my Amen!

He invites us to move forward with Him, surrendering to His molding and shaping as He is redeeming, restoring, and making all things new. Being engaged with Him and His work means we are constantly marching into unfamiliar territory—expanding our borders for His glory.
